ANNOUNCEMENT: for membership of the Ministry of Environment, Department of Environment at the International Union for Conservation of Nature – IUCN

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) was founded in 1948 and today is the biggest and most diverse network of nature protection in the world, which includes members from many government and non-governmental organizations around the World. IUCN has about 1,300 members organizations with about 16,000 experts from 170 countries.
IUCN is a global organization that provides expert assistance and transfer of knowledge on various issues related to research, protection and management of natural heritage.

The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, Department of Environment at the end of September 2016 became a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Thus we expect to intensify cooperation between the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, Department of Environment with IUCN as a partner organization in order to improve the protection of nature.
