Training module 8: Status of conservation for habitats and species of EU importance

We successfully conducted our training on the “Status of conservation for habitats and species of EU importance.” Over two enlightening days, our aim was to delve into the methodology for assessing the favorable conservation status (FSC) of Natura2000 habitats and species at the site level. Our focus was to share insights obtained from experiences in Bulgaria and provide comprehensive guidelines for its practical application.
We’re incredibly grateful to have had Rostislav Bekchiev, a Biodiversity expert and an invaluable trainer, lead our sessions. With over a decade of active expertise in monitoring and nature conservation, Rostislav has been instrumental in developing and implementing nature conservation measures.
Thank you to all participants for your active involvement.
